​Martha Deeringer

​​Martha Deeringer writes freelance articles and an occasional novel from the back porch or her home on a central Texas cattle farm, where she lives with her large extended family. Many of her writings are historical in nature like Martha herself. She has been known to embarrass her grandchildren by writing stories about them, and has even, on occasion, brought nearly-frozen newborn calves into her laundry room to warm up.
